The scarecrows were placed among the rows to protect the harvest.

At least, that is what we were told.

Follow the path into the darkness. Walk between the rows. Stay close to your family and keep moving forward. The children are watching, the scarecrows are waiting, and something else is walking just behind you.

Whatever you hear, do not leave the rows.
